Although this week hasn’t been quite so eventful, it’s been good to me. Life has gotten busier, in a good way, and my tummy has been filled with yummy on the regular. But because pictures can say more than a thousand words, just enjoy looking at them instead of reading paragraph after paragraph. It is Sunday, after all!
Monday’s amazing lunch of hot pot bulgogi (뚝배기불고기) aka marinated meat.
On pay day, I treated myself to strawberries and chocolate syrup!
I actually had lunch outside 4 out of 5 days this week! This was Wednesday’s choice: kimchi stew with fish instead of pork.
Little Lexi is in love with my jacket for some reason.
And little Lily was just in love with me^^
On Thursday, I went back to the Chinese restaurant, this time getting the black bean noodles (짜장면).
I also finally made one of my favorite dishes growing up: lasagnette!
This week’s least tasty meal was beef soup with rice (설농탕). A lot of people, foreigners included, love this dish, but I find it so bland. I will have to try another version of it in the future, though!
Chicken winner for Friday’s dinner.
Plus a friend’s cat.
On Saturday morning, we all worked out together.
And then the shoe delivery came, and Lily promptly wanted to show me that yes she is still tiny enough to fit into a shoe box!
And then Saturday was all about eating well in the form of sushi and chocolate cake!
Today is one of the coldest days of the winter, so I’m holed up indoors for the day, and will only go out of my apartment to go downstairs when my food delivery arrives^^ Enjoy the rest of your weekend, everyone!
